Spring
As winter draws to a close and the days grow longer, we celebrate spring and an exciting year ahead for Edinburgh Festivals.
In April, the Edinburgh Science Festival turns the city into a hub of scientific curiosity, with events that range from hands-on experiments for children to thought-provoking discussions on scientific advancements for adults. The festival offers something for everyone, including workshops, exhibitions and interactive installations.
Beginning in May, the Edinburgh International Children’s Festival celebrates the best of children’s theatre and dance from around the world. Taking place in theatres and community centres across the city, the festival is a chance for children and adults to hear stories from across the globe, discuss new ideas, and explore creativity.
