Bus

The Airlink 100 bus runs 24/7, every 10-20 minutes, to Waverley Station. You can buy your tickets in advance or on board.

There's a taxi rank at the airport.  If you need a taxi at other times, we recommend:
City Cabs: +44 (0) 131 228 1211
Central Taxis: +44 (0) 131 229 2468

Tram

Due to a fire in the city centre, the tram currently only runs to the West End tram stop.  The tram runs every 10 minutes between 6am and midnight (with an additional night service on Fridays/Saturdays during August). You can buy tickets at the machine at the stop, or use a contactless device to tap on and tap off.  You can also plan your journey online.

Getting Around Edinburgh

We will meet you at your accommodation on the first morning of your programme, to ensure you are comfortable finding your way.

The Momentum Delegate Centre is 2.5km from your accommodation (40 minute walk, or 25 minutes by bus or tram).

Edinburgh is a small and walkable city, and because it is so busy during August, walking is usually quicker than using public transport or taxis.  Please bring comfortable shoes and a rain jacket with you - and let us know of your access needs, including if walking might be difficult for you.
