Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) is the world’s oldest continually running film festival and, in 2024, relaunched as a brand new entity with a new board of industry leaders. Honouring 70+ years of festival history, EIFF showcases the very best filmmaking talent in a re-energised format that is rooted in a local Scottish context whilst embracing the international diversity of creative expression.
Helmed by CEO & Festival Director Paul Ridd and Festival Producer Emma Boa, the team works to create a world-class showcase for independent film and filmmaking talent.
About the Role
The Marketing team is responsible for engaging audiences with EIFF 2026, promoting the vision of the Festival, driving ticket sales and participation, enhancing the reputation of the Festival as well as archiving the Festival, gathering materials for promotional or historical use.
Working closely with the Programme Planning team, Marketing Manager, Marketing Coordinator and Designer, the Publications Coordinator ensures that all film-related content is sourced from filmmakers and distributors ready for the variety of Marketing requirements, including images and video trailers (and film promotional material).
This role is key to the production of the Festival communications material, the brochure and the website. The Publications Coordinator also ensures that all copy for the EIFF brochure and website meets high standards of readability, clarity and consistency of usage and is ready to go live by EIFF deadlines.
