The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is a world-class event, rooted in Scottish tradition, offering audiences an experience like no other. Performed to a live audience of 230,000 each year on the iconic Edinburgh Castle Esplanade, the Tattoo showcases creativity through music, precision performances and dance from military and cultural acts from around the globe.

About the Role

To deliver excellent customer service via telephone and email, to assist our audience with enquiries and ticket sales on the lead up to their visit to The Edinburgh Castle Arena for the Tattoo. As a first-class ambassador for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, you will be required to:

  • Provide excellent customer service and communication over the telephone and via email with members of the public and travel trade from around the world.
  • Assist in the processing of orders for Tattoo tickets, hospitality packages, and merchandise.
  • Carry out administrative ticket sales tasks including data logging.
  • Help customers with online bookings.
  • Prepare and despatch Tattoo tickets and passes.
  • Assist customers in accessing their mobile tickets, offering their tickets for resale or other general ticketing enquiries.
  • There may be some requirement to assist a team based at The Hub with face-to-face ticket sales and customer queries.
