Following a great New Year's Eve, we moved on to 1st January and our First Footin’ programme, a FREE unticketed live music trail - supported by the Scottish Government’s Festivals EXPO Fund through Creative Scotland - which welcomed over 20,000 visitors to explore landmark buildings and historic venues throughout the city, discovering new experiences with a feast of live music and performance by artists from across Scotland and beyond. For the first time, First Footin' was live streamed from two of the venues and you can watch these below - St Giles' Cathedral [Tinderbox Orchestra & special guests Rachel Sermanni, James Emmanuel and Kathryn Joseph] and Greyfriars Kirk [Valtos presents Sounds of Scotland & the Basque Country].
