Tattoo reaches for the sky in 2018
As the Royal Air Force marks its 100th anniversary in 2018, the Tattoo will feature members of the RAF among the hundreds of others taking part in the always-spectacular performance.
They'll be joined by, among others, the Central Band of the Czech Republic and regular Tattoo favourites the Top Secret Drum Corps of Switzerland.
The show will also feature colourful performers from across the world, in celebration of Scotland's Year of Young People, and of course the incredible sight and sound of the Massed Pipes and Drums.
Tickets for the Tattoo have sold out in every one of the last 19 consecutive years, so booking early is always advised, especially when travelling from outside the UK.
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo runs from 3-25 August 2018, with performances at 9pm Monday to Friday, 7.30pm and 10.30pm on Saturdays. The 10.30pm performances feature an extended fireworks display, and the performance on Thursday 9 August at 9pm will be Audio Described.
