As Edinburgh's Festivals celebrate the 70th anniversary of the festival city, we thought it would be great to hear from the people who put these incredible events together - the festival directors and producers. 

In our latest video, here's Ed Bartlam from Edinburgh's Hogmanay (30 December 2017 - 1 January 2018) telling us all about Hogmanay, working with Edinburgh's other festivals and what drink he thinks his festival would be.

...what festivals do is they bring people together, they really take that sense of community and pull it further and further, so that you're seeing stuff in amongst people who you may have met for the first time, seeing shows that you've never seen before - and that's a really good thing...
