Childrens Festival - great shows for older kids
Edinburgh International Children's Festival is fast approaching (27 May - 4 June 2017), and there are some fantastic shows lined up. It's not just for very little ones either - so here we take a look at some of the shows in the programme aimed at older children.
Little Red (7-12 years)
Everyone knows the classic story of Little Red Riding Hood, but this fresh take on the tale from Glasgow's Barrowland Ballet is definitely one to check out. Follow Little Red as she steps off the path and into the dark, dangerous woods.
Three dancers each take turns in playing the show's roles in this beautiful story about growing up, where things may not be quite as clear cut as they appear.
