Movies in the open air - Film Fest in the City

Film fest open air 2016 v2 975x400

EdinEvents, in partnership Edinburgh International Film Festival, brings its always-popular Film Fest in the City back to St Andrew Square this summer, with huge free open-air screenings of some great movies.

Fans of outdoor cinema will be delighted by the line-up of flicks scheduled for Friday 10, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June, in advance of the full Film Festival (15-26 June).

In all, 15 films will be screened at Film Fest in the City, ranging from children's classics and superhero blockbusters, to cult movies and box office smash hits - and there's even a special ‘dance along’ screening of Grease, in association with the city's Dance Base

Mark Adams, EIFF Artistic Director said:
