The Festival is offering an open opportunity for anyone - alone, in a group or from an organisation - to submit their bright ideas for an event or exhibition at the science showcase next year (26 March - 10 April 2016).

Revolving around the concept of Building Better Worlds, the Science Festival will look at the influence of, and opportunities for, science, technology, engineering and design in the following areas:

  • Being Human
  • Our Built Environment
  • Science and Culture
  • A Planetary Perspective
  • Beyond Planet Earth

The festival is looking for people who have ideas to enthral, inspire, fascinate and provoke, through interactive events and performances, exhibitions and workshops that bring science to life for all ages.
