Lose yourself in Celtic craic... at the Storytelling Festival
Visitors to Scotland love to be enthralled by its rich traditional culture - a richness wonderfully presented at the Scottish International Storytelling Festival.
Words, music and a wee hint of magic combine beautifully at this autumnal Edinburgh experience. Thrill to the expert weaving of tales from across the land and beyond, regularly enhanced by beautiful musical accompaniment to create an atmosphere and intimacy rarely seen.
That was certainly the case in 2017 when Aiden O'Rourke (above) joined fellow musician Kit Downs and writer James Robertson for their performance of 365 Stories, Stories, Tunes.
Combining Robertson's year long collection of short stories with O'Rourke's musical responses to each one, the trio truly entranced their audience.
