About the Role

Momentum is an international delegate programme, delivered by Festivals Edinburgh on behalf of Edinburgh’s Festivals, British Council Scotland, and Creative ScotlandIt provides a dynamic platform for key cultural players from across the world to engage and build relationships with Edinburgh’s Festivals, the wider Scottish cultural sector, and the international community that flocks to our city during the summer Festivals season.  

Momentum 2024 will welcome 9 international delegations, all based out of our Delegate Centre in Edinburgh City CentreThe Events Assistant will work closely with the International Programme Officer to deliver a busy programme of events and help Delegate Centre operations to run smoothly.    

We are looking for a calm, welcoming person, with experience of providing excellent customer service and delivering events.    

We are looking for two super-organised, unflappable people with an understanding of Edinburgh’s festivals, great communication skills, and experience of juggling complex schedules.
