History of the Children's Festival
Not long ago, the Edinburgh International Children's Festival - and it's parent company Imaginate - turned 30 and to mark that anniversary we produced a short film looking at the impact they've had over the last 30 years.
The film includes a series of interviews from a range of artists, journalists, parents, teachers and previous festival directors and board members, as well as footage and images from previous festivals.
We also created an interactive timeline of the last 30 years, which includes a lot of unseen photographs, articles and interviews, as well as copies of all previous Festival programmes and a comprehensive search facility to look at all companies and shows presented at the Festival over the last 30 years.
